As we mentioned in the previous post, the State of NJ is proposing new rules for development in the coastal zone that make it easier to develop in the coastal zone. If it wasn’t so sad it would be laughable after what we’ve been through with Sandy. Newsworks does a pretty deep dive and Carolyn Beeler gets it to the heart of it here. A few towns are starting to think and plan, many towns are assuming others are in the same boat, all towns are looking to the State for guidance that is not there.
