NJ OEM to Public and Experts – Drop Dead

Maybe it was not that bad, but the public, environmental, and planning professionals are feeling snubbed because the Office of Emergency Management in NJ submitted their Hazard Mitigation Plan to the feds without any input from the public.  Then they opened up a public comment period…but none of that public input will influence the report.  More on NJ Spotlight from Scott Gurian.  On thing the “public might have pointed out, that the report lists Mantoloking, NJ as an area of low risk as pictured above. mantoloking2
